    Hi there, I have a Hyundai i30 2011 and the vehicle have no ecu its been damaged so I have to replace it with a second hand ecu ! Now can I just plug the new (second hand) one and rewrite my VIN on it with my autel MS906BT please advise

     I doubt it.Typically if that can be done at all by a Maxi Sys, you need to have the original ECM that is still able to communicate installed and the MaxiSys needs to pull some information out of it first, then you are instructed when to install the replacement ECM

    You will need a pin code from your original vehicle to program the used ECU…

    Find a tool that can program keys to Hyundai which X100Pad2 can do it, because I use it... Or you can try your Autel but, you will need the pin code.....

    Plug in your used ECU>>>Select model>>>Select Program Keys>>>Enter your Pin Code and follow the instruction on screen..... (You might need a new Transponder Chip) as your old one is locked to your old ECU...
